Happy Tuesday!!!

It’s Silke here.  I have the pleasure of hosting this weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge.  I created this sketch for you to try…..hope you like it and will play along with us!

I used the newly released Flourishes From The Heart set.  I inked the heart in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with these Copic Markers ~ R14, R22 and Colorless Blender.  The paper is from the S.E.I Promise Me collection and I also added some Kraft cardstock.  The rest of my card was embellished with a doily, some Prima Flowers, the black/white gingham ribbon and silver pearls.

Welcome to another week for our Timeless Tuesday challenge!  I am your challenge hostess this week, and I’ve got a simple inspiration challenge for you.  Check out the photo below and be inspired!  Maybe you’re inspired by the colors, the ribbons, the patterns, the topiary itself?  Whatever you like… anything goes!  Have fun with this challenge!

For my card, I was inspired by the topiary, the colors and the patterns so I pulled out my DIY Topiary stamp set to get started.  Since the lovey-dovey Valentine season is almost upon us, I decided to make a Valentine-themed card, using a sentiment from the Tag Lines stamp set.  My image was cut out with a Labels 8 Nestabilities die, and I colored my Topiary with Copics from the Poppy, Dogwood, Evergreen, Flesh Tones 2 and Warm Neutrals Copic collections on Flourishes Classic White cardstock.
