Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC96)!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC96)! Thanks so much to everyone who played in last week’s doily challenge.! This week Silke Ledlow is our challenge host! Silke is challenging us to 3D Holiday Gifts! A card can be made to go along with your gift, but a 3D Christmas gift item is the main challenge! We look forward to seeing what you create!

FTTC96_Stocking_07Dec10

Silke is using the snowflakes from Warm WinterWishes to stamp in different festive colors for her stocking. She used a sentiment from the Holiday Greetings set ( inside stocking) , she used a sentiment from the Holly and Dove on the banner tag hanging from the bow. Silke embellished the top of her stocking with brown grograin ribbon, some silver beaded cord, and a touch of some cotton crochet trim. She finished it all off with a stitched centered red button. Beautifully done, Silke!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC95)! Thanks so much to everyone who played in last week’s sketch challenge. Keep in mind it is not too late to play FTTC91, FTTC92, FTTC93, and FTTC94 as we not only have a weekly winner but also a monthly winner, too! The winner from last week’s challenge is listed below!

It is the last Tuesday of the month so we have us a challenge host! Mona Pendleton is our challenge host this month! Thanks so much Mona! Mona is challenging us to doilies! You can use actual doilies or create your own with punches or die cuts. The object is to have a doily look! We look forward to seeing what you create!

FTTC95card

Mona is using Flourishes Gerber Daisies stamp set. She stamped the smaller gerber daisy cluster image using Momento Tuxedo black ink. She colored the image using Flourishes Copic Color Collections. Mona combined pattern papers, sewing, and ribbon accenting to complete her beautiful card. And, let’s not forgot the fabulous layered Spellbinder’s oval die cut backed with a doily. Gorgeous card, Mona!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC94)!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC94)! Thanks so much to everyone who played in last week’s Christmas card challenge. Keep in mind it is not too late to play FTTC91, FTTC92 and FTTC93 as we not only have a weekly winner but also a monthly winner, too! The winner from last week’s challenge is listed below!

This week Cindy Haffner is hosting. She is challenging us to a sketch she has designed. As far as sketches go, there is not much of an explanation necessary. You can turn it and modify the shapes to fit your size card, but in the end, it should still look like the sketch. Good Luck! We cannot wait to see what you create with it!

Cindy is using Flourishes Drummer Boy stamp set. Cindy layered beautiful designer patterns and combined texture, sewing, and layered ribbon to create this beautiful Christmas card. She stamped the nutcracker directly to the dp and chose not to color it . It is very dramatic and striking as it is. Cindy finished the card with a Spellbinder’s label sentiment tag. Beautifully done, Cindy! Lovely Christmas card!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC93)!

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC93)! Thanks so much to everyone who played in last week’s glitter challenge. It seems everyone loves things with sparkle! Keep in mind it is not too late to play FTTC91 and FTTC92 as we not only have a weekly winner but also a monthly winner, too! The winner from last week’s challenge is listed below!

This week Dee Jackson is our challenge host! It is begining to look a lot like Christmas so many of us really need to get some Christmas cards ready for mailing! Dee is challenging us to “Just Do It!” Get those Christmas cards done! You may need to make several for this challenge! We would love to see what you create!

Let’s check out what Christmas card Dee created for us this week!

Dee is using Flourishes newly released Warm Winter Wishes stamp set. She is using Flourishes Classic White cardstock. She stamped the fluffy mitten image and colored with Flourishes Copic Color Collection. Dee cut the mittens out and popped them up for added detail. The Spellbinder’s layered beaded oval really showcases the sentiment and mittens beautifully. As a finishing detail, Dee threaded some red adn white twine through the beaded ovals and finished with a touch of button and little bow. Beautifully done, Dee! Wonderful Christmas card!

Keep in mind it is not too late to play that challenge as we not only have a weekly winner but also a monthly winner, too! The winner from last week’s challenge is listed below!

This week Barbara Anders is the challenge host! Barbara is challenging us to use glitter! You can use actual glitter, glittered cardstock, or items ready made with glitter! So, give your cards or projects just a touch of glitter or go all out with some sparkle! We would love to see what you create!

Barbara is using Flourishes All That Glitters and Christmas Music(sentiment) stamp sets. She stamped the beautiful ornament onto Flourishes Classic White cardstock. She colored with Flourishes Copic Color Collections. She added some gold glitter to the ornament. She mixed patterns of Memory Box Tinsel designer paper and added a decorative bow to complete the look! Beautifully done, Barbara! Wonderful Christmas card!
