Flourishes FTTC100 Winners!

Hello everyone!  As promise I have the FTTC100 Blog Hop Winners post for you today!  I just want to thank you all for playing along with us!  I was equally thrilled that many of you chose to use your Flourishes stamps!  Thanks so much for playing along and making our Timeless Tuesday Challenge a part of your week!

Flourishes Timeless Tuesday 100th Challenge Blog HOP!

Welcome to Flourishes Timeless Tuesday’s 100th Challenge Celebration Blog Hop (FTTC100)!

We would like to thank everyone who has been with us since the beginning  as well as everyone who joined us along the way. We are celebrating our 100th challenge with a customer appreciation BLOG HOP! Everyone can plan and anyone can win!

CHALLENGE: All About Favorites! Use your choice  of one or all of your favorite stamps, papers, colors, technique, and embellishments!  Just list in your write up the favorites you chose to use in your card or project.

BLOG HOP: We are giving you a few days to work on your card/project.  On Friday, January 14th the linky system with open at 8:00 am and close at 12: oo pm Saturday night. (Edited:  We have extended the timeline for people to enter the hop since we had  a few issues with error messages today with card loading.  We apologize for this inconvenience)! Anyone who wants to play along can link their cards during this time.  The hop starts as soon as participants start loading.  While the link system closes at midnight, the hop will continue til Monday night at 6 pm to give everyone a chance to hop along and check out the cards and leave comments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • All players participating in the hop and loading to the challenge  must include the blog hop button at the top of their blog post (right click to save)
  • A link from blog post  to this post.
  • Become a blog follower if you are not already!
  • Give a list of favorites per challenge assignment
  • Comment on as many participants cards as you can during the three day hop!
  • Participants using Flourishes stamps add FLLC after name with link.
  • When loading to online galleries, use code FTTC100

PRIZES: We are giving away FIVE - $15 Flourishes store gift codes! The gift codes can be used to buy anything in the Flourishes store!  Some of these will be for entries and others will be for commenting!

RECOGNITION AWARDS: While everyone is allowed to play, the Flourishes blog team would like to offer a special award to all players who use Flourishes stamps.  When loading your card to the link system be sure to add FLLC after your name.  From all of the FLLC cards, we will choose the BLOG HOP TOP 5 Winners! Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC99)!

Timeless Tuesday New Logo

It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC99)!  Happy New Year!  Thanks so much for everyone who played in last week’s pearl challenge!    Can you believe we are at challenge number 99?   WOW! 

 Before I tell you about this week’s challenge, I want to remind you to be here next week for Flourishes FTTC100th Challenge Blog Hop Celebration! You are not going to want to miss it!

Now, on to this week’s challenge!   Barbara Anders is our challenge host.  Barbara is challenging us to  flowers!   Just add  flowers of any kind to your card or project!   In the mist of all the cold temps and snowy conditions in many parts of the world, we are going to brighten and warm things up a bit with some flowers!   We would love to see what you create!

Let’s take a look at what Barbara created for us!

 Barbara is using Flourishes Thank You stamp set.   She stamped the script sentiment that comes in the set using Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock.  She deckled the edges and softly sponged to create a soft vintage feel and used it  as the focus of her card.  She  colored using Flourishes Copic Color Collection and cut out the beautifully stemmed tulip to use as an accent.   Take note that the base of her card also uses Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock.  This cardstock is weighty enough to use as a cardbase.  She used various patterns from  Webster Pages Petite Papers Combo Pack – Hollywood Vogue & WonderFALL.    Absolutely gorgeous, Barbara!

    It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC98)!   I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.    We took a little holiday break last week, but now we are back on schedule.  Thanks so much to everyone who played in our last food and drink theme challenge.    The winner is listed below.

    Now, on to this week’s challenge.   This week Betty Wright is our challenge host. I am challenging everyone to pearls. You can add individual, colorful, big, small, flourished, or swirled pearls to your cards/projects. We look forward to seeing what you create!

    I am using Flourishes Apple of My Eye and Forest of Trees stamp sets.  I was going for a masculine themed card using pearls.  Is it possible?    I think I did it!   Masculine Elegance is a good thing.    I am using some Webster Pages Petite Papers Combo Pack – Hollywood Vogue & WonderFALL.   I love the blend of patterns and  textures looks that can work beautifully for girly cards or, in this case, masculine.  I added some machine sewing stitches along with  a rich navy satin bow and touches of gold pearls to finish the look.

    Now, on to this week’s challenge.  Maki Jones is our challenge host! Maki is challenging us to a theme! The theme is all about food and drink! Create a card or project that showcases some yummy treats either real or stamped! We look forward to seeing what delicious looking creations you make!

     Maki is using Flourishes  Sweets of the Season and the snowflake from Warm Winter Wishes to stamp a background panel to layer behind the focal image.  Maki stamped her image with Memento tuxedo black.  She colored with Flourished Copic Color Collection.  Maki added some highlighting with an inkssentials white opaque pen.  To further showcase her adorable ginger bread cookies she used red and green mirrored cardstocks.  She added a Spellbinder’s fancy label frame and finished with some green baker’s twine. Beautifully delicious, Maki!  Lovely card!
