Timeless Tuesday #164

Hi there! It’s Mona here and it is my turn to be this week’s hostess :) Since Spring has Sprung in many places around the world and many trees are in blossom, I’ve been thinking about the mouth watering fruit that will soon be available at the markets. With that in mind, I’ve chosen to challenge all of you to create a card/tag focusing on a Fruit theme. Flourishes sells many beautiful fruit stamps, feel free to click here to see them all. Please be sure to read the challenge rules listed below for complete details.

To create my card, I stamped the beautiful bunch of Cherries image from the Cherries and Peaches set onto a piece of Flourishes Classic Ivory Cardstock, colored with Copic markers then cut using a Spellbinders Labels Nine die template. While leaving the Labels Nine die template in place, I sponged Ranger Antique Linen Distress Ink around the perimeter.

Timeless Tuesday #163

Hi everyone! It’s Beate and it’s my turn to host again. I thought I give you an easy challenge. April is my birthday month so your challenge is to make a birthday card. Please be sure to read the challenge rules below for more details.

I love the new Botanical Bookplates Vo. 1 and thought they would make for a great spring birthday card. One of the images was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers. The image was cut out with the Tailor-Made Classic Bookplate die and layered on a piece of white cardstock, cut and embossed with one of the the Antique Frame & Accent dies. The border strip  and the small corner die of the same die package were used to cut another piece of white cardstock.  The card was designed with the designer papers. The sentiment was stamped with the same black ink on a piece of cardstock, cut and embossed with a Tailor-Made Classic Tag die. Ribbon and rhinestones finish off the card.

Last week was Tammy’s last challenge as a team member. Thanks Tammy for all your work and all your gorgeous creations that inspired so many of us. Our new team member is Amanda Havon! As a special treat we have two guest designer for the month of April.

Timeless Tuesday #162

Hello everyone! It’s Maki, and it’s my turn to host this week’s Timeless Tuesday challenge #162.  Easter 2012 is less than two weeks away, so  my challenge is simply all about Easter!!  Please be sure to read the challenge rules below for more details.

I used one of the beautiful Easter sets, He is Risen.  The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic markers (mostly colored with Evergreen, Peony, Fresh Tones 2, Daffodil and new collections - coming out soon, Rich Brown -just lighter shades). After I finished coloring, I trimmed the image and adhered on the coral paper that was cut out with Label 20 Nestabilities. Then one of the lilies was also added for more dimension. The card was designed with the designer papers and decorative border. The sentiment was stamped with the same black ink on the oval mat and the mat was sponged with Distress Ink Dried Marigold. To finish off, I tied the white satin ribbon with a pearl brad and attached the smaller pearl brads on the card.

Timeless Tuesday #161

Happy Tuesday!

It’s me Silke here, and it’s my turn to host his weeks Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. I hope you have time to try this long card sketch with us.

Here is my take on it……

The brand new released Botanical Bookplates Vol. 1 set worked perfectly with this sketch!  The images were inked in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  The sentiment is from the new Magnolias set.  The rest of my card was embellished with some gingham ribbon, some Cotton Trim Ribbon, a matching Black Button and pearls.
