Welcome everyone! We are extremely happy to welcome our three newest designers, Katie Sims, Jenny Gropp and Judy Rozema to the Friends of Flourishes Team and all three of them will be playing along with us this week.
But with that happy news, we have some sad news to report too. It is with great sadness that we report that our long-time designer Cindy Haffner will be leaving our team. Cindy is off on a new adventure… a new home, a new town… some brand new life adventures! So please, take a moment a visit Cindy’s blog HERE and wish her well on her new venture! Thanks Cindy for being a part of the Flourishes family. We’ll miss you!
Now… on to our challenge!!
Hi everyone! It’s Broni and I’m hosting this week’s Timeless Tuesday Challenge. My challenge to you is to use the colors blue and green (FTTC220). It’s pretty simple…whether you color your image blue and green or just use blue and/or green ribbon, it’s up to you!
I used the beautiful new Old Tea Rose stamp set for my card. It’s stamped in Desert Sand Memento ink onto Flourishes Classic ivory cardstock. I colored the rose itself in neutrals and then colored the leaves in greens and the background in blues using these Copic Collections:
My card base is also ivory and I used mats from both the Pistachio and Emerald Coast paper collections. I rolled back one of the corners and added some beautiful Teal Blue seam binding. The sentiment is stamped in Rich Cocoa ink.
Please play along with us! We always love to see your beautiful creations!
Today we have all of our new Friends of Flourishes Team members sharing their “blue & green” inspirations with you! Take a moment and leave some love on all of our designers’ blogs.

- Why not use Flourishes stamps on your creation?!? You will receive two ballots towards our weekly prize if you use our stamps! Hooray!
- Include a link back to this challenge in your blog post or gallery upload.
- Please clarify in your blog post, how your creation specifically meets our challenge.
- If you upload to Splitcoaststampers, please use the keyword FTTC220.
- Deadline to enter is next Monday at 6:00 p.m. EST.
One random winner will be picked from all of the entries.
We had 45 fabulous entries including 19 entries besides our Designer creations that qualify for 2 ballots because that stamper used some Flourishes stamps for Denise’s “Black Accents!” challenge last week. Our randomly chosen winner is #14! Congrats Carley! Please email Allison at: firstname.lastname@example.org to claim your prize!
Good luck this week!
