Flourishes 2012 Top Picks

Hello my friends of Flourishes!

Earlier this month, all of Hollywood was dressed to the nines in their designer creations in the hopes of taking home a “Golden Globe.”   With that in mind,  I wanted to take a look back and share our version of these high prized awards  — the absolute tops at Flourishes. The stamp sets you had to have in your creative spaces. The top picks for 2012!  Each and every one our stamps were contenders  and you, our stampers,  picked the favorites simply by making them our Top Sellers in 2012!

Today,  I wanted to share with you the cards I personally made with these six stamps sets! Drum roll please…

Number 6 in all of Flourishes land was a set focused on tiny — Tiny Flowers and Tags! We love these darling little florals and apparently, you did too. This set was designed to be a companion to our Tailormade Classic Tags Die.

In the number 5 spot was a charming set that truly captured the lovely flowers that could be hand-picked from your own garden, called Garden Picks. I just loved creating an artsy watercolor look with this set.

In the number 4 spot last year was another stamp set that Flourishes crafted to be used with one of its Custom Tailormade Dies. That set is… Botanical Bookplates Vol. 2. I used this lovely set to doll up a baby album for a close friend…

In the number 3 spot was a set that continues to take my breath away. I love the way Marcella Hawley drew these flowers and the set, Magnolias, is a true classic. It was your third favorite last year!

Rising to the number 2 spot is a set that we literally could not seem to keep in stock for most of 2012. It was a lovely set perfect for those times when just the right words of sympathy have to be used. It’s our set Calla Lilies.

And,  now to the top seller — the stamp set that receives our version of a “best of the best” award —  How about calling this little number the “Oscarette!” Did you want to see the darling little award we whipped up at home base? We all cracked up but it really is quite lovely. Don’t you love it’s curvy figure and the splash of florals and pearls?

So, without further ado, the winner of our Oscarette is….. Botanical Bookplates Vol. 1 with those lovely  violets and snow drops. (You’ll notice this stamp set’s sister Botanical Bookplates Vol. 2 is also in the top 6!) Here’s my creation..
