Timeless Tuesday #129 – Favorite Flowers

Happy Tuesday! Betty Wright here as your FTTC129 Challenge host this week! My challenge this week is easy peasy. All you have to do is make a card or project showcasing your favorite flower or flowers! Our gallery should be blooming with beauties this week! Looking forward to seeing what you create!

For my card, I am using Flourishes Spring Bouquet for the focal image and images from Sweet Nature, Moments in Time, and Strips and Stripes stamp sets to make my background patterns. I am using Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock. I stamped my Spring Bouquet and colored with Flourishes Copic Color Collection. I used some Spellbinder’s for focal image and tag. I also used the negative space from the postage frame in Spellbinder’s Creative Book Pages die to create a unique ivory border. I added some sparkle with a must have Quickie glue pen! I finished with a piece of ivory crocheted trim and seam binding with bow!
We so enjoyed having Shannon White join us as Guest Designer for July, and now with a new month we welcome a new Guest… Allison Cope!  We know you’re going to love see what Allison will bring to the Timeless Tuesday challenges this month!
In addition to a new Guest Designer for August, we also have the thrill of welcoming a new member of our team today!  We couldn’t be happier, and KNOW you’re going to be well-inspired by the addition of Beate Johns to our team!

HOW TO PLAY: Everyone can PLAY and anyone can WIN! Each week Flourishes draws one lucky name for a $10 gift code to the Flourishes store! PLEASE TAKE NOTE – PARTICIPATION RULES: Just leave a comment on the blog posts of each of the Timeless Tuesday designers! Then create a new card or paper-crafted project fitting the challenge and link it up by using the Inlinkz widget below, and leave a comment letting us know that you’ve left your comments and linked your card! One random winner will be picked from all of the comments to win the weekly prize. Of course, if you have Flourishes stamps, by all means, use them. If you don’t, please play anyway! You have until next Monday at 6 PM EST to enter! Please, when you use the Inlinkz widget below, be sure to use the actual link to your Timeless Tuesday post instead of a general blog link – we want to make sure we can find your creations! Also, if you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FTTC129! We hope you make time for play time this week!
We had 44 entries for Maki’s Christmas in July Challenge from last week, and 22 comments left indicating that participants had left their comments on the design team blogs and linked their entry.  Remember, to be eligible to win you must link a creation, leave comments for all the designers, and leave a comment here!  Winners are chosen from the comments, not from the entries!  So our random winner is lucky #8, Cheryl Lea!  Cheryl, please email Tammy at FlourishesTTC[at]gmail[dot]com for your prize code!  Congratulations, and thanks to everyone who joined in!
Thanks so much for stopping by!   Happy Stamping!
Betty
