Timeless Tuesday #123

Happy Tuesday! It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge(FTTC123)! I am Betty Wright and your FTTC host this week. This week my pick for a challenge is “In the Bag!” Or, I guess I should say “With the Bag!” Use brown grocery bag paper on your card or project. You can use a brown lunch bag to create a gift item or small scrapbook album. Or, you can use sections of the bag to create a background, border, or accent piece for your card or project. Never fear, though. If you do not have any brown grocery bag paper to play with, kraft cardstock will work, too! We want everyone who wants to play along to be able to play with us! Looking forward to seeing what you create!

For my card, I am using Flourishes Cherries and Peaches stamp sets. I am using Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock. I layered a couple of Spellbinder’s. My background paper was created cutting a section of brown paper bag to size. I embossed, stitched, and inked distressed the edges. I stamped my cherries and colored with Flourishes Copic Color Collection. I finished with a seam binding bow, button, and sentiment tag!

See what the other Flourishes Blog Team designers have created to inspire you…

HOW TO PLAY: Everyone can PLAY and anyone can WIN! Each week Flourishes draws one lucky name for a $10 gift code to the Flourishes store!  PLEASE TAKE NOTE – PARTICIPATION RULES: Just leave a comment on the blog posts of each of the Timeless Tuesday designers!  Then link your card by using the Inlinkz widget below, and leave a comment letting us know that you’ve left your comments and linked your card!  (And as long as Blogger is still causing problems, please continue to just do the best you can and let us know when you have problems…. we’re being pretty lenient right now, knowing that is can be a struggle sometimes to leave the comments!)  One random winner will be picked from all of the comments to win the weekly prize.  Of course, if you have Flourishes stamps, by all means, use them. If you don’t, please play anyway! You have until next Monday at 6 PM EST to enter!  Please, when you use the Inlinkz widget below, be sure to use the actual link to your Timeless Tuesday post instead of a general blog link – we want to make sure we can find your creations!  Also, if you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FTTC123! We hope you make time for play time this week!

We had 40 entries for Makiko’s Challenge from last week, and 16 comments left indicating that participants had left their comments on the design team blogs and linked their entry.  Remember, to be eligible to win you must link a creation, leave comments for all the designers, and leave a comment here!  Winners are chosen from the comments, not from the entries!  So our random winner is lucky #14, Petra Wetzels! Petra, please email Tammy at FlourishesTTC[at]gmail[dot]comfor your prize code!  Congratulations, and thanks to everyone who joined in!

Now, it’s your turn to play!  Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

~Betty
