Anniversary Wishes

Hello again! This Sunday I would like to share with you a card created with three of the newly released sets: Country Charm Labels, Country Charm Borders and Wedding Bliss.

I started out by stamping a label image from Country Charm Labels in Victorian Velvet ink on ivory cardstock. The label matches the new Spellbinders Grommet Tag dies perfectly. The image was cut and embossed with the matching die. Next the cardstock was sponged first with Antique Linen, then just the edges with Vintage Label Distress ink while the die was still over the cardstock.

A sentiment from Wedding Bliss was stamped into the center of the label with Frayed Burlap Distress ink. The label was then adhered to a piece of light brown cardstock and hand cut into a slightly bigger die.

One of the images from Wedding Bliss was stamped in Frayed Burlap on Ivory cardstock. It was cut and embossed with a Classic Oval Nestabilities die and stitched to a piece of brown cardstock, cut and embossed with the biggest Beaded Oval Nestabilities die.

A 2″ x 4″ strip of patterned paper was adhered to a 4″ x 5″ piece of patterned paper from the same paper pack. The layers were stitched to a 1/4″ bigger piece of Ivory cardstock.

The image layers were adhered to the layers with dimensionals. Organdy ribbon was threaded through the label holes and the label was tied around the layers, slightly over the image ovals.

The layers were then adhered to the card base, a 4 1/2″ x 11″ piece of light pink cardstock folded in half. I cut up a white pearl swirl and adhered the bigger piece to the top left, the smaller piece on the lower right hand corner.
