Timeless Tuesday #110

Hello everyone~
It’s Maki and I am hosting this week’s Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC110). I am challenging you to one of the more popular stamping techniques -*Masking*!! You can mask one or more stamped images to create a wonderful scene or use masking templates to create beautiful designs for your card/project. The ideas are up to you!

Please read the challenge rules below for more details.

I used the Easter Basket set for my card. I used the masking technique for the images in the basket. The bow on the basket was adhered with dimensional adhesive after it was trimmed. Then all the images were colored with Copic markers. The image and sentiment mat were layered on the frames from Spellbinders. I also used the swirl masking template on the background and sponged brown ink over the template to create the swirl design. To finish off, I dressed with my handmade roses and ribbon on the top corner.

Now it’s time to check out the rest of the team:

Betty Wright

Cindy Haffner

Dee Jackson

Makiko Jones

Silke Ledlow

Tammy Hershberger

Amanda Havon, March Guest Designer

HOW TO PLAY: Everyone can PLAY and anyone can WIN! Each week Flourishes draws one lucky name for a $10 gift code to the Flourishes store!  PLEASE TAKE NOTE – NEW PARTICIPATION RULE: Just leave a comment on the blog posts of each of the Timeless Tuesday designers!  Then link your card by using the Inlinkz widget below, and leave a comment letting us know that you’ve left your comments and linked your card!  One random winner will be picked from all of the comments to win the weekly prize.  Of course, if you have Flourishes stamps, by all means, use them. If you don’t, please play anyway! You have until next Monday at 6 PM EST to enter!  Please, when you use the Inlinkz widget below, be sure to use the actual link to your Timeless Tuesday post instead of a general blog link – we want to make sure we can find your creations!  Also, if you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FTTC110! We hope you make time for play time this week!

We had a 69 entries for Silke’s Butterfly Challenge last week, and there were 24 comments left indicating that participants had left their comments on the design team blogs and linked their entry.  Remember, to be eligible to win you must link a creation, leave comments for all the designers, and leave a comment here!  Winners are chosen from the comments, not from the entries!  This was a new rule instituted a few weeks ago.  So our random winner is lucky #8, Anniebee!  Please email Tammy at FlourishesTTC[at]gmail[dot]comfor your prize code!  Congratulations, and thanks to everyone who joined in!

Can’t wait to see your project!!

~Maki
