Flourishes Friday

Welcome to Flourishes’ Friday Focus. This week we have a guest designer joining us! Over on Splitcoaststampers,  Stacy does an amazing job finding all kinds of customer creations for our Weekly “Check It Out” Favorites Thread.  As I was checking them out, I noticed one stamper had created a monthly card to send to her friends.  That stamper is joining us this week.  I would like to welcome Cheryl Scrivens as our guest this week.  Cheryl told me that she was  given the Year Of Flowers 1,2 and 3 stamp sets last year as a gift and she decided to share her talents each month with 3 dear friends.
With the first calendar page Cheryl gave her friends  a stand as seen here.  She then created a calendar each month and sent it to them.  She also sends along a sentiment stamped on a piece of cardstock so that after the month is over they can use it to cover the calendar part. Cheryl chose the A Year In Flowers 2. The ribbon is the May Arts Silk Deep Rose available at Flourishes.
.
I thought this was such a great idea for my family back home.  Each month I will create a card using these stamp sets and the CALENDAR that Flourishes offers for FREE.  I used the A Year In Flowers 1. I stamped my image onto Flourishes Classic White Cardstock.  I printed my calendar out using Julie’s directions found HERE. I also used the May Arts Crocheted Ribbon on my card. The embellishments are the  Basic Grey Rhinestone and the Corner Flourishes Pearls.

Some of the Flourishes gals also were inspired this week by calendars. So hop on over and see…

Thanks so much for joining me this week and a big thank you to Cheryl for sharing her talents!
