Happy Sunday to Everyone! It is so hard to believe that this is the last weekend of August! The children in my area have started back to school and my girls are settled back at their colleges. Once September arrives I always seem to start thinking about the holidays to come. So for my project today, and my last post as Flourishes Limelight Designer, I made my very first Christmas card for this year!
For my project today I used one of my very favorite Flourishes Stamp, Christmas Tea. A card made with this set and paired with a gift of tea makes a great little gift!
The image is colored with Copics and Prism colored pencils. I added a little glitter to the pines branches for a touch of snow and rhinestones to the center of the flower.
I added machine stitching around the edges with a heavy weight top stitching thread. Lace and pretty ribbon finishes the card off.
On the inside a copied the layout from the front of the card and stamped a sentiment and teacup for the stamp set.
Well, this is my last post as Flourishes Guest Designer for this month. I hope you have enjoyed my projects. Thanks Julie for the opportunity!
