Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas now….
If you are a cardmaker, it’s really never too early to be in the Christmas spirit! That’s why the Flourishes DT is doling out a little Christmas inspiration to share with you today! Nothing like giving yourself a head start on Christmas cards and gifts! It’s Stacy here and I have two cards to share with you. This first one is using Christmas Wreath - one of my favorite Christmas sets. I have kept this rather simple and easy to mail, since postage on bulky cards can get a little costly at Christmastime. The coloring is all done with Flourishes’ Copic Collections. I used several sets from the Spring Greens, Flesh Tones 1 and 2, Falling Leaves and Meadow. There is some sparkle hidden on the stems if you look closely.
Next I have the beautiful Dove and Holly set. I stamped out the large doves in the set and then used the Spellbinders Labels 10 for the frame. The Copic Collections I used on this were the Cool Neutrals, Green Grass and some of the Sky and Dahlia Collections. I still have some of the Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper in my stash, so I pulled out a sheet. See this wonderful ribbon trim with the pink satin? This trim is in the store now and oh I just love how it simply it dresses up a card. I have added some pearls on this one as well.
